YOUR ROLE AS A CIVIL ENGINEER:

The Civil Engineer will be required to provide the following design services: plan preparation including site grading, stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control measures, and preparation of permit applications/plans/specifications for submission to PennDOT, PADEP and the Conservation District. Attendance of various municipal meetings is required as needed. Our prospective Civil Engineer must work collaboratively with project team members when necessary, however self-motivation and the ability to work independently is valued.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field preferred

  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Possesses knowledge of stormwater management design, erosion & sedimentation control design, and PADEP permitting process

  • Possesses knowledge of the Subdivision/Land Development process

  • Ability to interact with a network of professionals including township officials, DEP, PennDOT and Conservation Districts

  • Presentable, experienced, and qualified in testifying at various Zoning Hearing and other Township Board meetings.

  • Ability to show the highest level of care and professionalism to our clients.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, and AutoCAD (preferably Civil 3D)

  • Ability to work independently

  • Organized & detail oriented

  • Ability to work in-person and travel to our office in Pipersville, Pennsylvania 5 days per week, with occasional exceptions

  • $90k - $125k per year, based on experience
